Interested in a garden plot? Join your community garden waitlist! All GFH Community Garden areas are available for use free of charge. However, the University may implement new regulations and reallocate garden space to construction projects. Future changes will be announced ahead of time and the GFH Community Garden Contract will be updated accordingly. Please be advised of these potential changes when deciding to invest in your garden.

Mesa Nueva & Nuevo West: 6-8 Months
One Miramar Street & Mesa: 6-8 Months
Nuevo East: 1 Month
Eligibility Requirements:
- Garden plots are assigned to primary residents only.
- Plots are assigned by the Residential Services Office based on their waitlist standing. The waitlist standing is determined by the date and time the form is submitted.
- Garden plots are assigned to current primary residents, for a maximum of 2 years.
- The Residential Services Office will provide a two weeks’ notice prior to a plot being reassigned, end date, or move out date and has full discretion over reassignments.
- Each primary resident may only be assigned one plot at a time.
- Assigned garden plots are not to be transferred, exchanged, or subleased to another individual. Plots may only be assigned by the Residential Services Office. Plots may be shared with your additional resident per your rental agreement.
- Moving out of GFH will automatically make you ineligible to hold a plot in a GFH community gardens.
- Misused, poorly maintained, or abandoned plots are subject to reassignment.
