Description: Mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and learning high-cognitive demand mathematics and language development are foundational skills for a student’s education. Join us as we discuss the distinction between argumentation and arguing—our goals for this series of lectures are the following:
- Understand the argumentation phases
- Develop an understanding of ways to facilitate and support argumentation in the classroom.
- Be ready to convince others of the value of combining math and argumentation learning
This is a three-part virtual series.
Cost: $150 per individual ($110 if registered by Sept. 30, 2025); $125 per person for a team of 3 or more
