Angel is a third-year transfer student majoring in Psychology at San Diego State University. He was selected as an ADAR scholar in the summer of 2024 and is currently an undergraduate researcher in the MILPAS Lab, working under the mentorship of Dr. Morlett. His research focuses on developing normative data for a verbal fluency test tailored to Hispanic/Latino populations. After completing his undergraduate degree, Angel aims to pursue a Ph.D. in Neuropsychology, with the goal of becoming a principal investigator, leading his own lab, and mentoring the next generation of underrepresented scientists. He is also eager to contribute to the field of psychology in Mexico, aspiring to conduct research there and serve as a bridge between national and international scientific communities.
